TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"Murder" debut, 7 p.m., Spike. Think of this as a fantasy camp for "CSI" wannabes. Except the fantasy is muted by the fact that real murders are involved. The hour starts with two teams, each with three laymen who would like to solve a crime. Each gets 90 minutes in the re-created scene of a murder that was committed and solved years ago. Later, there are lab and morgue reports, plus a chance to see the tapes of suspects being interrogated. In this opener, we see smart people tackling a complex case. It's an interesting hour, albeit a grisly one.

OF NOTE

"Eureka," 6 p.m., Sci-Fi Channel. Here's the sort of offbeat episode this show is fond of. Carter bumps his head and finds himself in an alternate version of the town, one in which people keep disappearing.

"Shark Feeding Frenzy," 6 p.m., Discovery. What do sharks really prefer to eat? This new documentary looks at seven species.

"America's Got Talent," 7 p.m., NBC. The show is down to its top 10 acts.

"Damages," 7 p.m., FX. A young lawyer has convinced her friend to testify in a case against a business mogul (Ted Danson). Alas, the lawyer's intense boss (Glenn Close) distrusts the testimony. And Frobisher seems willing to commission a murder, if needed.

"Daniel Tosh: Completely Serious," 7 p.m., Comedy Central. Here's another chance to see Tosh's stand-up special, which is often hilarious and sometimes very politically incorrect.

"Flipping Out" debut, 7 p.m., Bravo. Jeff Lewis is a Los Angeles real-estate speculator in a frantic field. "He's crazy," his executive assistant explains, "but a lot of geniuses are crazy." In this six-week series, we'll meet Lewis, his staff and his former boyfriend, who is also his business partner. We'll see him trying to buy and sell multimillion-dollar houses, while consulting a psychic, a therapist and more.

"Shaq's Big Challenge" conclusion, 8 p.m., ABC. This well-meaning series has had kids trying to get in shape. Tonight, they take the Presidential Fitness Test, have a physical exam and meet the governor of their home state of Florida.
