The Keiki Injury Prevention Coalition and its partners will conduct free child safety seat inspections from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 28 at the Hana Community Health Center.

Officials will be on hand to provide information on safety seat recalls and to demonstrate how to install the seats properly.

Parents and caregivers planning to participate in the inspections should bring the child, the safety seat and car. Each inspection takes about 30 minutes.

No appointments are necessary.

A limited number of reduced-price car seats and booster seats will be available.
