Live theater is alive and well on Maui, where the comedy 'The Full Monty' continues at Iao Theatre in Wailuku.

Here’s the story: Six guys who are down on their luck decide to boost their bottom line by becoming male strippers and calling themselves “Hot Metal.” Unfortunately, they’re not exactly stripper material — not that that stops them.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 5 p.m. Sundays, through July 29. Admission is $20 general, $18 seniors and students; the 5 p.m. Sunday shows are $15 a ticket. Reservations: (808) 242-6969.
