TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"Jump In," 8 p.m., Disney Channel. OK, you weren't planning to watch a movie about jumping rope. Still, try this, and you'll be hooked. There's the vibrant skill of the people in double-Dutch competitions. These kids are athletes, artists, acrobats and more. Then there's the personal charm of Corbin Bleu, the star. A talented actor, dancer and singer, he has also become a convincing jumper. The story has him trying to please his dad (David Reivers, Bleu's real-life father) by being a boxer. Still, he also wants to please his neighbor (Keke Palmer of "Akeelah and the Bee") by joining her jump-rope team. For a time, he tries to keep that second world secret. That's a so-so story but the actors bring it to life. Director Paul Hoen serves up a steady blitz of jumping, backed by pop tunes, including one from Bleu and two from Palmer. The result turns out to be way more fun than you'd expect from jumping rope.

OF NOTE

"Ghost Whisperer," 7 p.m., CBS. A ghost is reluctant to be reincarnated as the child of Melinda's pregnant friend. Frankly, we didn't realize ghosts have a say in this.

"Grey's Anatomy" (7 p.m.) and "Brothers and Sisters" (8 p.m.), ABC. Both shows rerun their most-recent episodes. In "Anatomy," George's dad goes from heart surgery to cancer surgery; in "Brothers," Justin's group-therapy session is botched by his family.

"Close to Home," 8 p.m., CBS. A woman dies during minor plastic surgery. Is it possible that this was murder?

"Las Vegas," 8 p.m., NBC. Judd Nelson guests as the husband of Ed's favorite ex-employee. Now Ed is suspicious of the guy.

"Cory in the House" debut, 9:30 p.m., Disney Channel. Two characters from "That's So Raven" get their own series. There's Cory (Kyle Massey), the teen schemer, and his dad (Rondell Sheridan), who has just become the White House chef. Like "Raven," this show is often overwrought and loud with people shouting instead of acting. Still, there are amusing moments, as Cory goes to an upscale school and meets "America's sweetheart" — the president's manipulative, 8-year-old daughter.

"Numb3rs," 9 p.m., CBS. A salvage diver has been killed. Did this involve a drug deal, a treasure hunt or something else?

"Law & Order," 9 p.m., NBC. After a shooting, it becomes clear that a soap star (Jennifer Beals) doesn't have the African-born baby that she claimed to have.
