Park planning to be discussed

Residents can learn what the city Department of Parks and Recreation has planned for East Honolulu parks in a meeting at 6:30 p.m. March 9 at the Koko Head District Park community center.
The city will review the status of ongoing projects from previous budget years, including an update on the renovations to Goeas Field at the district park, and give the community a glimpse into the budget for new projects in the fiscal year starting July 1.
The meeting is being held by the Hawai'i Kai Neighborhood Board Parks and Recreation Committee.
The park is at 423 Kaumakani St.
