GIFT IDEA
PAWS APPLAUSE
In the canine world he's a hunk, yet sensitive, too — just look at those eyes. Odell, adopted from the Hawaiian Humane Society by a Kane'ohe family, now has his own line of greeting cards ($4 each). Photographer and neighbor Paul Hughes came up with the idea after Odell bonded with Hughes' couch on the odd friendly visit. Odell's modeling fees are paid in doggie treats, but a portion of card sales are donated to his friends at the Humane Society. Find them at Island Treasures Art Gallery, in Kailua, and at Island Treasures At The Marina, in Hawai'i Kai.

FINAL WORD
"I don't look at it as there are rules for anything. That why I'm not wearing a dress. I'm wearing a tux. I don't care what I'm supposed to look like."
