Board of Water Supply crews closed part of Kamehameha Highway yesterday while they fixed a sinkhole and a leak on a 3-inch water main at 49-302 Kamehameha Highway.

Traffic was contraflowed between Johnson Road and 49-176 Kamehameha Highway until the early afternoon. A Board of Water Supply spokeswoman said the sinkhole was about 2 inches deep and just over 2 feet wide.

No customers were without water, she said.
