There will be a 24-hour left-lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the northbound direction between Waihau Street and Waikalani Drive on Monday and Wednesday through Friday, the state Department of Transportation said.

The left lane will be closed by portable concrete barriers 24 hours a day for shoulder widening and curb construction work. Work hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Transportation Department advises motorists to use caution while driving through the work area and to allow for longer travel time.
