Advertiser Staff

First Hawaiian Bank has completed the installation of 56 ATMs in all 7-Eleven stores statewide, the two companies announced yesterday.

First Hawaiian Bank now has 278 ATMs in Hawai'i, Guam and Saipan. Previously, the ATMs at 7-Eleven stores in Hawai'i were provided by Bank of Hawaii.

"We feel this partnership with the state's largest bank is one that will be welcomed by our customers," said Glenn Nagatori president of 7-Eleven Hawaii.

Don Horner, First Hawaiian Bank president and chief executive officer, said, "Our customers will have added convenience thanks to 7-Eleven's wide geographical coverage throughout the state."

First Hawaiian, with assets of $12.5 billion, is Hawai'i's oldest and largest bank. It has 58 branches in Hawai'i, three on Guam and two on Saipan.

Seven-Eleven Hawaii Inc. was formed in December 1989 as a subsidiary of Seven-Eleven Japan Co. Ltd. The company operates a chain of 56 convenience stores open 24 hours a day on O'ahu, Kaua'i, Maui and the Big Island.
