Waipahu man, 22, charged after neighbor stabbed

A Waipahu man has been charged with stabbing a man late Friday night.
Jefferson Lucio, 22, stabbed a neighbor, 26, who had asked him to quiet down at 11:50 p.m. when Lucio was standing outside his apartment yelling, police said. The attack occurred at an apartment complex on Aniani Place in Waipahu.
The man, who was stabbed in the neck, was taken to a hospital in serious but stable condition.
Lucio was charged with first-degree assault. His bail is $20,000.
