Snow is in the forecast for Merchant Street tonight.

For another year, Murphy's Bar & Grill will bring in three tons of snow for "Miracle on Merchant Street."

The event runs from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., and will shut down Merchant Street from Nu'uanu Avenue to Bethel Street.

Some 300 people are expected to attend.

While kids are playing in the snow, their parents are invited to pop into Murphy's to wrap gifts for children.

The presents will be donated to the Hawai'i Children's Cancer Fund.
