Two killed in separate vehicle crashes Sunday

A 72-year-old man whose truck went out of control on Moanalua Freeway Sunday morning and jumped the median had a heart attack, the city medical examiner's office said.
Harold W. Ring, of Honolulu, suffered from diabetes and high blood pressure and had a heart attack due to clogged arteries, the medical examiner's office said.
Shortly after 8 a.m. Sunday near the Pu'uloa off ramp, Ring was traveling east in a white 1995 GMC Sonoma truck when his vehicle veered to the right and came to rest on a grassy median between other eastbound lanes.
Also Sunday, a 27-year-old Mililani-area man was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle on a left turn on a wet road in Wahiawa. His name was not immediately disclosed.
Police said the man was riding east on Wika'o Street when the motorcycle drifted across the road and hit a curb. He was thrown from his Kawasaki motorcycle. He was wearing a helmet. The accident happened at 95-524 Wika'o St. at 9:36 p.m.
