Conservationist Chuck Burrows will lead a walking and driving tour of natural and historic sites in Kawai Nui Marsh in Kailua on Saturday.

The tour will include stops at sites where restoration and maintenance are being done. Those include Ulupo Heiau, Na Pohaku o Hauwahine, the Kawai Nui estuary at the Kawai Nui Neighborhood Park and 'A'ala (Lanikai) Point.

He will explain plans to restore the health of the natural and cultural ecosystems of the marsh and the Kailua ahupua'a.

The tour will start at 8:30 a.m. and be completed by 12:30 p.m.

A $5 donation is requested.
