Take the kids to learn about "green" living at a free event put on by The Baby Hui on Wednesday at Kapi'olani Park.

"It's Easy Being Green" runs from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at picnic area No. 7 across from the Waikiki Natatorium.

Part of the event includes a toy exchange. Parents are encouraged to bring clean, safe, gently used toys to trade with other families.

The event also features kid- and eco-friendly crafts, games, music and activities.

The Baby Hui is an all-volunteer parent support group that reaches about 500 parents statewide each year.
