Advertiser Staff

Hawaiian Airlines, which already provides charter service for the Oakland Raiders, said it will serve as the official airline for the Seattle Seahawks football team.

The state's largest airline will fly Seahawk players, coaches and staff to away games in Phoenix; San Francisco; Pittsburgh; Cleveland; St. Louis; Philadelphia; Charlotte, N.C.; and Atlanta during the upcoming season.

UH PROGRAM TARGETS REALTORS

The University of Hawai'i Shidler College of Business next month will begin offering a management program for Realtors.

The certificate program, called "Business Fundamentals for Real Estate Brokers," is being produced in partnership with the Honolulu Board of Realtors and will introduce participants to business management ideas, including financial management, marketing, human resource management and negotiations.

The program consists of four four-hour seminar-workshop sessions and costs $700. Enrollment is limited to 20 students, who must be licensed Realtors and active members of the Honolulu Board of Realtors.

2 ISLE COMPANIES TO PAY EPA FINES

Two Hawai'i companies will each be required to pay $2,000 fines to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a result of chemical inventory reporting violations, the federal agency announced yesterday.

The EPA recently settled with Backhoe & Excavation Services Inc. of Kihei, Maui, and Rolloffs Hawaii Inc. of Honolulu. The two were cited for failing to submit their chemical inventory reports by the required deadline.

Keith Takata, director for the EPA Pacific Southwest region's Superfund Division, said the paperwork is important. "Chemical inventories inform workers, the community and first responders what chemicals may be present in case of an accidental spill," Takata said.
