Advertiser Staff

A Keiki Water Fest for fourth- and fifth-graders and a cleanup at Pouhala Marsh and Kapakahi Stream will mark Earth Month activities tomorrow by the city's Storm Water Quality Branch.

The free water fest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hawaii's Plantation Village will include displays, demonstrations and hands-on activities that include interactive stations on topics such as stream sampling and limu.

Volunteers of all ages wishing to help with the Kapakahi and Pouhala cleanup, which will include tree planting and trash removal, may reach Pauline Kawamata at the Hawaii Nature Center, 955-0100, ext. 18, or paulinekawamata@aditl.com.
