A Windward O'ahu banner that traveled to Washington, D.C., as part of a nationwide campaign will be on display in Hawai'i this month.

The banner created at the 2006 Relay for Life of Ko'olauloa was among 5,000 that formed the American Cancer Society Wall of Hope, an effort to seek more funding and support for cancer research.

The banner will be on display April 20-21 at La'ie Elementary School, home of this year's Relay for Life, said Lani Almanza, executive director of the Windward office of the American Cancer Society.
