Maui Community Television has expanded its facilities, opening a new Media Lab and Learning Center two doors down from its main studio facility at 333 Dairy Road, Suite 102.

Meanwhile, the main studio and production office facilities are closed through Tuesday for renovations. Live and in-studio production has been suspended during the work, but Akaku producers and clients can check out equipment, drop off tapes for broadcast and attend classes at the Media Lab and Learning Center.

Hours during the renovation period are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. For more information, call 871-5554.
