Tonight's Sunset on the Beach premieres the first four episodes of the second season of the TV series "Flight 29 Down," the teen equivalent of "Lost," on that 30-foot screen at Queen's Surf Beach in Waikiki. Bonus: local cast member Tani Lynn Fujimoto is slated to sing.
Tomorrow's features are the Edgy Lee documentary "Paniolo" and the family comedy "The Shaggy Dog," starring Tim Allen as the deputy district attorney who turns into a ... well, dog!
Of course, there will also be food booths and entertainment.
And, because Sunset sponsor ResortQuest Hawaii is celebrating its first birthday, there'll be cake for the first 1,000 attendees each night.
Sunset on the Beach festivals begin at 4 p.m. each day; the films hit the screen after the sun goes down, about 7 p.m. Admission is free. 923-1094.
