FALL INTO THE RED
Tirelessly lobbying world leaders to turn their attention to Africa, U2 frontman Bono is now tackling corporate. He and Bobby Shriver, who founded an initiative called RED, have gotten mass-appeal Gap to create a limited collection — also called RED.
Half of the profits from sales of the RED collection will go to The Global Fund to finance programs that help women and children affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa. Items include T-shirts ($28), hoodies ($60) and leather bracelets ($10). They're available in all Hawai'i Gap stores. Go to www.gap.com for details.
