Mike Carp hit an RBI pinch-hit single with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning as the North Shore Honu beat the Waikiki BeachBoys, 6-5, last night at Hans L'Orange Park.

Cory Dunlap led off the ninth with a double down the left-field line off David Quinowski. Andrew Johnston replaced Quinowski and Darrin Ford pinch run for Dunlap.

Ford advanced to third on a passed ball with Koby Clemens at the plate. After Clemens struck out, Carp singled to left for North Shore, which led 5-0 after the first inning.
