Island musical favorites The Makaha Sons and Maui's Richard Ho'opi'i will perform at "Ka Moana Nui A Kanaloa (The Great Ocean Pathway of Kanaloa)," a benefit concert for Ke 'Ala 'Olino Native Cultural Center, which is raising money to send groups to the Matari'i Maohi Native Cultural Festival in Tahiti.
Polynesian dance groups Tehamata, Te Vai Ura Nui and Te Wananga O Aotearoa also will make their debut on the Hawai'i Theatre stage. And there's a surprise guest singer, too, but it won't be much of a secret if you log on to www.hawaiitheatre.com for more information.
The concert is from 7 to 10 p.m. tomorrow. Tickets are $20-$40; 528-0506.
