TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"The Apprentice," 8 p.m., NBC. As the two-week finale begins, this show is down to its final two. Lee Bienstock, 22, is from Brooklyn. He graduated from Cornell as a straight-A student, landed a financial consulting job and has found time to volunteer in soup kitchens and inner-city schools. Sean Yazbeck, 33, grew up in London but now lives in Miami. He's been brokering deals and working for a recruiting agency. Now one finalist organizes a rock concert and the other heads a celebrity hockey event.

"Washington the Warrior," 6, 10 p.m., History Channel. Tall and diligent, young George Washington simply looked like a commander. He was promoted quickly in the British and Virginia militia. That soon led to spectacular failures: His unprovoked attack triggered a North American war between the British and French; his poor strategy led to defeat. Then came success as Washington skillfully took command when a superior fell. This well-made documentary shows a man who made good use of on-the-job training.

OF NOTE

"Hannah Montana," 4 p.m. to midnight, Disney. The sheer likability of Miley Cyrus (whose dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, plays her father) makes us tolerate this so-so comedy about a teen who's secretly a pop star. Here's a marathon.

"Karate Dog," 7, 9 p.m., ABC Family. Our expectations tend to be low for a murder mystery about a talking, karate-chopping dog. Still, this movie does have some drolly clever moments early, before it just gets silly. The dog has the best lines, voiced by Chevy Chase; the humans — Simon Rex, Jaime Pressly and Jon Voight — are underused.

"2 Fast 2 Furious" (2003), 7 p.m., Fox. This sequel to the high-octane "The Fast and the Furious" has Paul Walker chasing the fast drivers hired by a drug lord.

"Two and a Half Men," 8 p.m., CBS. Alan dates a perfectionist who soon wants to rule Charlie's semi-chaotic kitchen.

"The New Adventures of Old Christine," 8:30 p.m., CBS. Here's the show's funny pilot. Julia Louis-Dreyfus plays Christine, a divorced mom who puts her son into a ritzy private school.

"Medium," 9 p.m., NBC. Allison dreams of her own teen years and is unsure how that affects the case she's working on.
