Monden dives into nationals

Four-time state high school diving champion Aleia Monden qualified for the USA Junior Spring West National Championships in April.
Monden, a St. Andrew's Priory senior, earned silver in the 1-meter and 3-meter events at the USA Spring Diving Region 9 Championships in Scottsdale, Ariz., March 10 to 12.
The Tropic Lightning member scored 330.60 points in the 1-meter and 338.25 points in the 3-meter. She earned one of six national berths in each event by virtue of her finishes.
The Junior Spring West National Championships will be held at the University of Minnesota, April 28 to 30.
