CONCERT: APRIL 7-8

The ever-popular Society of Seven returns to Hawai'i to pay tribute to member Gary Bautista, who died in January. The troupe of Tony Ruivivar, Bert Sagum, Randy Abellar, Roy Guerzo, Hoku Low, Wayne Wakai and Albert Maligmat will be joined by Philippines entertainer of the year Lani Misalucha, now a regular member of the SOS, and Philippines crooner Martin Nievera. Tickets are $45, $55 and $65, with a $5 discount for students, seniors and military.

STAGE: APRIL 7-15

The beloved characters of the "Peanuts" comic strip come to life on stage in the family musical "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown." Besides everybody's favorite round-headed boy, the play features Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, Schroeder and Sally. Kris Fitzgerald directs. Tickets are $19 general, $16 those 62 and older and military, and $9 children and students.

EASTER: APRIL 8

Get an early hop on Easter at the Waikiki Aquarium's Easter Sea Hunt, which features egg hunts for children ages 2-8, a fishpond game, craft activities and the Easter Bunny. The festivities also include Kraft Food's Cheesasaurus-Rex and Oreo Man and access to the exhibits and galleries. Admission to the event is $9 general; $6 kama'aina, military, students and seniors; $4 ages 13-17 and those with disabilities; $2 ages 5-12; and free for 4 and younger and Friends of Waikiki Aquarium members. Admission to the egg hunt is an additional $8 per child, or free for children of FOWA members; limited registration that day. The fishpond game also carries a $2 fee. Proceeds from the event benefit the aquarium's programs.

COMEDY: APRIL 13-14

A night of laughs is in store, courtesy of "Jo Koy and Friends." Standup comic Koy, right, started his career in a comedy club in Las Vegas before going on to perform at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino and BET's "Comic View." Doors open at 7 p.m. for this 18-and-older show. Tickets are $26 for 21 and older and $31 for ages 18-20.

CONCERT: APRIL 14

The Hawai'i Theatre's Hana Hou! Hawaiian music series returns with the harmonious trio The Makaha Sons, right. Brothers John and Jerome Koko along with Louis "Moon" Kauakahi bring Na Hoku Hanohano award-winning rich sounds and light humor to the stage. Tickets are $30.

STAGE: APRIL 14-29

'Ohi'a Productions' brings back Lisa Matsumoto's "Wings of the Islands," which first hit the stage in 2002. Travel to the wetlands, forests and shorelines of Hawai'i through song, dance and puppetry to meet the many kinds of birds that call the islands home. Lisa Matsumoto and Tamara Montgomery direct. The cast includes, from top to bottom, Noelle Poole as Laura the Laysan Albatross; Clint Sekioka as Stuart the Hawaiian Stilt; and Stephanie Sanchez as a Wedge-tailed Shearwater. Tickets are $10 general, $9 for students 13 and older, seniors 65 and older and military and zoo members, $5 for ages 3-12 and free for 2 and younger. Tickets bought online by March 31 save $2.

CONCERT: APRIL 22

What a coincidence! This year's environmentally friendly Kokua Festival takes place on planet-friendly Earth Day. On the entertainment lineup: Jack Johnson, Willie Nelson and the Planetary Bandits, Ben Harper, Henry Kapono, Paula Fuga and the One Love 'Ohana Band and ALO. Other attractions include organic food and drinks, interactive games and crafts for the keiki. Tickets are $35 lawn, $40 reserved, $50 seated pit, $17.50 children 3-10 and free for children younger than 3.

FESTIVAL: APRIL 22-23

It's all about books, reading and music at the Hawai'i Book & Music Festival, "A Celebration of Story and Song," featuring local, national and international authors and musicians, performances, presentations, demonstrations and signings. The festivities include workshops and forums, storytellers, poetry slams and a keiki area. Admission is free. The Advertiser is a sponsor.

CONCERT: MAY 1

The always-anticipated local lei day favorite is just around the corner. The Brothers Cazimero will soon present their 29th annual May Day Concert, right. This year the duo will be joined by Halau Na Kamalei and the women of the Royal Dance Company. Except music, dance and aloha to grace the stage, along with a few surprises. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets — $15 lawn, $25 reserved — go on sale April 8.
