Installation artist Ann Hamilton has had solo shows at New York's Museum of Modern Art and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.

Tonight at 7:30, she gives the lecture "By Mouth and Hand," an exploration of how speech and touch have formed and transformed her work and approach to architectural space. Heady stuff. At the University of Hawai'i-Manoa Art Auditorium, free.
