Police arrested a 44-year-old Waipahu man Tuesday after an apartment complex manager in Waikele said the man came at him with a machete.
The apartment manager, 48, told police he was doing maintenance work at the apartments on Waikele Road when a man approached him with a machete and threatened to cut him up.
Police were called to the apartment building and arrested the younger man on suspicion of terroristic threatening.
Police said the two men had a previous encounter in which the manager had the younger man removed from the complex because he allegedly was loitering there and attempting to sell drugs.
