PADOVANI CREATES EXOTIC FLAVORS
Philippe Padovani, one of the original 12 Hawai'i Regional Cuisine chefs, has simplified his life and opened a chocolate boutique on Queen Street. He said he is using premium ingredients, including Kona peaberry coffee and kiawe honey from the Big Island, in creating his chocolates.
Other flavors include Tahitian vanilla caramel, Ka'u orange, vanilla truffle, macadamia nut, mango and ginger.
Padovani's Chocolates, at 151 Queen St. (between Bishop and Alakea streets), is open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays; www.padovanichocolates.com, 536-4567.
