Hawai'i's Bryan Clay, the world decathlon champion, is looking to add the title of world heptathlon champion to his resume.

Clay won two of four events yesterday at the 11th World Indoor Track Championships in Moscow to take a 38-point lead over the Czech Republic's Roman Sebrle into today's final three events.

Clay won the 60-meter dash in 6.67 seconds and took the high jump with 2.10 meters (6-10fi). He placed second in the long jump with 7.74 meters (25-4 1/2) and sixth in the shot put with 13.89 meters (45-6 1/2) to amass 3,616 points.

The final three events are the 60-meter hurdles, pole vault and 1,000-meter run.
