CHILD'S INJURIES UNDER SCRUTINY
Navy and police investigators are looking into circumstances surrounding injuries sustained by a 5-month-old infant, police said.
On Thursday, police responded to a call from officials at Tripler Army Medical Center who reported that two active-duty Kane'ohe Marines, a woman, 22, and a man, 23, brought their infant daughter in for a checkup. During the examination doctors found 14 current or healing fractures including ribs and a clavicle.
No arrests were made but police and investigators with the Navy will pursue the matter through an investigation, police said.
