March 4—Deadline for the sixth annual Rough Rider Shootout, a benefit for Roosevelt High School, March 31, 12:30 p.m. shotgun start at Hickam Mamala Bay Golf Course. Format: Three-person scramble. March 20—Deadline for Hawai'i Wai-Kahala Cardinals Benefit Golf Tournament, a benefit for 11- to 12-year-olds baseball team heading to Cooperstown, N.Y., on March 23, noon shotgun start at Mililani Golf Club.
