HILO, Hawai'i — Kona police arrested three people yesterday in the robbery of a 34-year-old man at Kailua Pier.

Police said the man reported at 4 a.m. that he had been held against a wall and robbed of cash and personal items.

Police found three people fitting the description of the robbers and arrested a man, a boy and a girl, all of Kailua, Kona, on suspicion of second-degree robbery. They were being held in the Kealakehe police station yesterday pending possible charges.
