Four Seasons Resort Lana'i Manele Bay's 4x4 adventure package includes garden room accommodations, daily buffet breakfast for two and a choice of one activity per day: Choose from a round of golf, a 50-minute spa treatment, four-wheel-drive Jeep day with picnic, one round of sporting clays, a guided trail ride on horseback with picnic, one hour of private tennis instruction, a half-day of sailing and snorkeling, guided hike with breakfast and lunch included or gourmet dinner. Back from Peru: "Just Back from Peru," a travel talk by Chris Christensen, will be at 7 p.m. June 29 at Liliha Public Library, 1515 Liliha St. 587-7577. Christensen will speak about his 11th trip to the Peruvian Andes, Lima and major historic sites around Cuzco, including the Sacred Valley of the Incas and Machu Picchu.
Seattle bound: More than 60 restaurants will serve entrees, drinks and desserts at the Seattle Center for the 25th annual Bite of Seattle. Highlights include celebrated Seattle chefs, The Bite Cooks, local and imported beers and a Washington wine tasting. Four stages provide live music. The comedy club is back, and for the younger crowd, the Kid's Zone offers games and karaoke. Hours: 11 a.m.-9 p.m., July 21, 22; 11 a.m.-8 p.m., July 23. Zoomazium: At Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo opened last month with six play zones offering natural landscapes for learning. Designed by zoo managers, architects, child development specialists and a team of 10 children, the 8,500-square-foot structure is energy efficient, uses sustainable materials and features a living roof, where 21,000 native plants reduce storm water runoff.
