The 50th State Fair, continuing at Aloha Stadium, features R&B songbird Rihanna in a concert at 7:30 p.m. today (a previously announced concert for Saturday has been canceled). The Barbados-born Rihanna has been burning up the Billboard charts with her single "SOS," which held the No. 1 spot for three weeks last month, from her current release "A Girl Like Me."

Besides the concert series, which featured Nick Cannon and Raven-Symoné in previous weeks, the fair's attractions include the E.K. Fernandez midway of rides, games, food booths, a beer garden and a sea-lion attraction (show times 3, 7 and 9:30 p.m.). And there's a new ride — the Freak Out.

Fair hours are from 6 p.m. to midnight today, and noon to midnight Saturday and Sunday. The fair's final weekend is June 16-18.

Admission is $3 from noon to 6 p.m., $5 from 6 p.m. to closing; free for those under 40 inches tall.
