Missing girls, mother sought

Big Island police are asking for the public's help in finding two children who were not returned to their legal parents after a visit with their birth mother last month.
The birth mother, Diana Tamura, 30, is also being sought. Police have classified the case as a custodial interference investigation.
The girls' parents reported that they dropped off Chelsea Gouveia, 5, and Celeste Gouveia, 11, with Tamura the morning of May 27. The parents said Tamura failed to return the girls at a pre-arranged time later that morning.
Police were looking for Tamura and the two girls. Police have received reports of sightings in Honoka'a and the Boiling Pots area of Hilo but have been unsuccessful in finding the trio.
Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to call Detective John Ancheta from the Juvenile Aid Section at 961-2276.

MAN, 33, SUSPECT IN CAR-BUMPING
Police arrested a 33-year-old man in Wahiawa early Sunday morning on suspicion of deliberately bumping his car into a car that was occupied by two women.
The women, 22 and 23, told police the man drove off about 12:55 a.m. after damaging the car they were in.
Police later found a car matching a description provided by the women and arrested the driver for investigation of first-degree criminal property damage and unauthorized control of a vehicle.
