STORK REPORT: Anthony Ruivivar and his actress wife Yvonne Jung spent the holidays here with their son Kainoa and parents Tony and Karen Ruivivar at their Hawai'i Kai apartment. Anthony, former co-star on NBC's "Third Watch," has moved the family from New York to Los Angeles to scope upcoming TV pilots and such. Meantime, the acting Ruivivars are expecting their second, a daughter, in May. ...

Nara Springer Cardenas and actor-husband BullDog also are adding to the mom- and pop-ulation: A baby girl is due in May. Cardenas is the new costume director at the Honolulu Theatre for Youth, succeeding Casey Cameron, and Cynthia See is providing assistance for the wardrobe for HTY's April show for pre-schoolers, "Tales of Old Hawai'i," which Cardenas and BullDog are adapting from Joe Almeida's book. ...

PERSONALITIES: Andrew Ramos, 14-year-old student of Ellen Masaki, won first place recently in the Southwest division of the Music Teachers' National Association piano competition, in which he competed with youngsters from California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah and New Mexico.

A freshman at Moanalua High School, Andrew will compete in the March finals in Austin, Texas. He's also on HPR's "From the Top," airing at 10 a.m. this Saturday. It was taped earlier at the Hawai'i Theatre. ...

"Three Phantoms in Concert," a hot ticket Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at the Hawai'i Theatre, crackled with emotion and artistry. Craig Schulman, Cris Groenendaal and Kevin Gray had remarkable rapport and voices that soared. That "White Sandy Beach" hana hou clearly endeared the audiences. Doesn't get better than this. ...

Ron Bright, artistic director of Castle High School's Performing Arts Center, made time to check out former student Christina Tollinchi Souza in the "Edge of the Spear" film, in which she plays Daeyumi. Bright directed her when she was Rizzo in "Grease" and Aunt Eller in "Oklahoma!" Bright has been rehearsing with 5th- through 8th-graders who are prepping for "Music Man Jr.," Feb. 24-26 at the Bright Theatre at Castle High School. The "Jr." means that youths are in the production, which also has been abridged, though the memorable songs "Seventy-Six Trombones," "Till There Was You," etc. are intact. ...

Where they are now: Tino Ibach, formerly of Tino and the Rhythm Klub (formerly at the Esprit), is now part of the "American Timescape" production that follows the Tahiti Polynesian revue on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at the Ainahau showroom of the Princess Kai'ulani hotel. Tino does his trademark Stevie Wonder impression in the production. The show also features Garry Moore as Little Richard, Sally Davis as Cher and Valerie Jackson as Diana Ross, all formerly of "Legends in Concert." ...

Kevin Mau, marking his 15th anniversary at Coconut Willy's in the International Marketplace, is forsaking his afternoon slot for a nighttime run, from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. weekdays starting tomorrow. His audience has included Frank DeLima, Mel Cabang, Danny Couch, members of the Society of Seven Las Vegas, Iva Kinimaka, Brickwood Galuteria, Paul Rodriguez, KC (of the Sunshine Band), Marvin Hagler and Dennis Rodman. In October, he and Coconut Willy's will move to a new site in the Outrigger Lewers Street project now being renovated. ...

RANDOM NOTES: Don Ho is adding Thursdays (he was doing only Sundays) starting this week at the Hoku Hale showroom of the Ohana Waikiki Beachcomber hotel. Means he's recouping nicely from his stem cell therapy in December. ...
