"The President's Last Bang" — sound like a Bill O'Reilly-approved documentary about the final days of the Bill Clinton White House? It isn't. But it's based on the real-life final hours of a prominent political figure. The 2005 flick by South Korean writer-director Im Sangsoo revisits (in bloody yet satirical form, no less) the 1979 assassination of dictatorial president Park Chung-hee. Mixing elements of fiction and fact, "Last Bang" raised the ire of Park's family and collective eyebrows of South Korean filmgoers. Catch it today at the Doris Duke Theatre at 1 and 7:30 p.m. 532-8768.
