The New York-based ensemble Shashmaqam offers its vibrant Bukharan Jewish music and dance in a concert at 8 p.m. today at the East-West Center's Imin International Conference Center.

The group's music reflects the diverse cultures of its native Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, drawing on classical and folk traditions.

Tickets are $15 general, $10 students and seniors. The box office opens at 7 p.m., doors open at 7:30.
