Ostrowski rescues Punahou, 48-47

Miah Ostrowski hit a 13-foot baseline jumper with seven second left, lifting the Punahou Buffanblu to a 48-47 victory over the Maryknoll Spartans last night in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu game at the Mid-Pacific Gym.

The Spartans inbounded the ball but were unable to get off a good shot as time expired.

Punahou led 22-20 at halftime and took a 35-34 lead into the fourth quarter.

Spencer McLachlin scored 13 points and Ostrowski added 12 for the Buffanblu, who improved to 2-0.

Jordan Ho-Ching scored 11 and Travis Liu and Tyler Tsukazaki each had 10 for Maryknoll (0-1), which made seven 3-pointers, including three by Liu.
