Fit for Life Fitness Challenge at Expo

The Fit for Life Fitness Challenge starts today and runs through Sunday at the Neal Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall.
The event is part of the Hawaiian Telcom Great Aloha Run Fitness Expo.
Up for grabs will be $5,000 in cash and prizes, including Hawaiian Telcom wireless phones, computer bags and walking poles.
The entry fee is $20 at the New Balance of Hawai'i booth at the expo.
The fee for military and students is $10.
Contestants will compete in nine stations that are designed to test overall strength, speed and balance. The preliminaries will be today and tomorrow, with the finals scheduled for Sunday.

SWIMMING
ROUGHWATER SEEKS T-SHIRT DESIGNERS
The Waikiki Roughwater Swim is seeking aspiring T-shirt designers to come up with camera-ready art for the 37th event, which will be held Sept. 4.
The design must include the words, "37th Waikiki Roughwater Swim" and the Labor Day, Sept. 4, 2006 date.
The design will be centered on the back of the shirt. A design on the front, left pocket of the shirt is also required.
The selected entry will receive $300.

BOWLING
MIXED LEAGUE SEEKING TEAMS AT KAM BOWL
Four-person teams for a mixed bowling league are being sought. The league starts Wednesday at Kam Bowl at 9 p.m., and will run every Wednesday at the same time. Entries will be accepted until March 1. There will be prizes for the top four teams.
