Suspect sought in Feb. 8 robbery

Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man who stole a woman's purse and beat her at Restaurant Row on Feb. 8.
The woman was talking to the man at 2:40 a.m. when the man snatched her purse and punched her in the face, knocking her to the ground, police said.
After the woman hit the ground, the man continued punching her before running away, police said.
The woman suffered a swollen right eye and facial bruises. She was treated at the scene and did not require hospitalization, police said.
Police yesterday released a sketch of the robber. He was described as in his 20s, 5 feet 6 and 180 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

TEEN ACCUSED OF THREAT TO TEACHER
Police arrested a 15-year-old Leeward Coast boy Wednesday after he allegedly threatened his teacher.
The 37-year-old teacher had been trying to find out who was causing a disturbance in her class, police said. A student felt he was being wrongfully targeted and became angry. A verbal confrontation ensued and the teen allegedly threatened the teacher, who responded by calling police. The student was arrested on suspicion of terroristic threatening.
CAR BREAK-IN LEADS TO ARREST
A 41-year-old Wai'anae man was arrested Wednesday after someone broke into a rental car at a Wai'anae-area beach park, police said.
A female tourist flagged down a patrol officer near park at 7:33 a.m. The officer saw a man running away with a backpack. The man tried to evade the officer but was eventually stopped and arrested on suspicion of breaking into the car.
