Ken Moses hit one of two free throws with four seconds remaining to lift Mililani to a 55-54 win over Waipahu in an O'ahu Interscholastic Association Western Division boys basketball game last night at Waipahu.

Moses finished with a game-high 23 points as the Trojans remained unbeaten at 10-0.

Jomar Pedro led the Marauders (2-8) with 18 points and Robert Donley added 13.

KAHUKU BOYS, FARRINGTON GIRLS WIN

Kahuku won it's fourth consecutive O'ahu Interscholastic Association boys' team championship last night in convincing fashion at the Red Raiders' home gymnasium.

Kahuku, the Eastern Division's top-seed defeated Pearl City, 53-15, in the semifinal round before routing Moanalua, 54-15, in the final. It is the Red Raiders' sixth league title in the past seven years and their 14th overall.

Farrington edged Moanalua, 34-30, in the girls' final for its first OIA wrestling title. The Governors, top-seed from the Eastern Division, beat Kapolei, 33-18, in the semifinal round.

Kaiser and Campbell won the boys and girls junior varsity titles, respectively.

OIA REGATTA AT KE'EHI LAGOON POSTPONED

Today's O'ahu Interscholastic Association canoe paddling regatta at Ke'ehi Lagoon has been postponed due to a sewer spill and possibly contaminated waters.

Waipahu assistant athletic director Stacy Nii confirmed the report, but did not say whether the regatta will be made up.
