Man arrested on fireworks charge

A 35-year-old Whitmore Village man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly selling illegal aerial fireworks out of his home and for possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia and illegal firearms.
Chad Gemeno was released pending investigation, said Capt. Ed Nishi of the Wahiawa police station. All of Gemeno's alleged offenses are felonies, Nishi said.
Police searched Gemeno's home at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday following reports that he was selling illegal fireworks out of his home. Officers found 140 pounds of aerial fireworks, 3 pounds of processed marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a 12-gauge shotgun, police said.
SUSPECT SOUGHT IN FAST STOP ROBBERY
The Honolulu Police Department is seeking a man involved in robbing the Fast Stop convenience store at Stadium Mall in Salt Lake on Dec. 7.
The man allegedly entered the store at 5:50 a.m. and approached a store cashier, brandishing a gun and demanding money. The suspect then fled.
The man is described as weighing about 235 pounds and about 5 feet 8. He also had a thick mustache. He was wearing a hooded sweater, shorts and slippers. He had a circular tattoo on his left hand, and he used a silver handgun, police said.
