"I truly enjoyed my tenure in this inaugural season and will monitor the team's progress from across the ocean," Gasper said in a statement.

The Silverswords went 0-12-1 under Gasper this season.

Chaminade men's soccer coach Bob Barry will take over the women's program on an interim basis. The school said it is in the process of hiring a permanent replacement for Gasper.
