Even on a team that finished the regular season 5-5, Campbell's Shalei Murray-Thornton stood out.
The 5-foot-9 senior's performance impressed coaches in the O'ahu Interscholastic Association's Division II West enough for her to be named Player of the Year in a recent vote.
Murray-Thornton was the only Saber named to the DII West's all-star first team.
Radford, which won the West with a 9-1 record, led the way with three first-team selections: senior Tiana Manuma and juniors Brittany West and Melanie Fa'aliga. West was selected as a libero.
Wai'anae and Waialua each was represented by two players on the first team.
Wai'anae placed seniors Ngaire Yuen and Anastasia Fogatu. Yuen was selected as a setter.
Waialua was represented by senior Courtney Walker and junior Kimberly Meyerowitz.
Waialua's Erica Colon was named Coach of the Year.
