TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"Big Day," 8 p.m., ABC. Last week's terrific debut caught the start of the wedding day for sunny Alice and playful Danny. Mostly, we met her family: The mom obsesses on salad and other details, the dad hides; Becca (Alice's sister and bridesmaid) is a troubled cynic. In the opener, Becca inadvertently slept with the best man and drank his contact lenses. Now a feud builds between best man and bridesmaid. Meanwhile, Danny's dad arrives, via bicycle. He's soon giving foot massages that are way too pleasant; it adds up to another bright, funny episode.

"House," 8 p.m., Fox. This is a rerun, but we won't gripe. It's one of the best TV hours in recent years. Dr. House's former love (Sela Ward) arrives, just as he's scheduled to give a lecture. Soon, we see odd, fantasy versions of the people in his lecture; we also learn more about House's pain. It's a stunning episode, worth seeing again.

OF NOTE

"Desire" and "Fashion House," 7 and 8 p.m., MyNetwork (KFVE). After lots of schemes, threats and romances, these telenovelas conclude. New ones start Wednesday.

"Friday Night Lights," 7 p.m., NBC. As another big game nears, players are torn by their personal troubles. Tim draws scorn because of his affair with Lyla, the girlfriend of the paralyzed quarterback. Smash keeps taking performance-enhancing drugs. Matt, the new quarterback, has his first date with the coach's daughter.

"Once Upon a Christmas" (2000), 8 p.m., ABC Family. Kathy Ireland plays a nanny who doesn't mention that her dad (Shakespearean actor Douglas Campbell) is Santa Claus. The film skillfully mixes humor and warmth; its sequel airs Wednesday.

"3 LBS," 8 p.m., CBS. Moving an hour earlier than usual, this episode has a soldier suffering a stroke, because of shrapnel.

"Bad Girls Club" debut, 8 p.m., Oxygen. This reality show arbitrary bills several young women as "bad girls," then puts them together in a fancy house. Soon, they're arguing; the rich one drinks a lot and pushes people. It's a strange piece of entertainment.
