Dr. EUGENE MARCEL AMBARD, 68, of Hawai'i Kai, who went out on a boat trip Aug. 24, 2000, and was never found, has been declared dead. Born in Paget, Bermuda. U.S. Marine test pilot in Korean War; Punahou School teacher; and emergency room physician at The Queen's Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente Medical Center; a yachtsman, boat and koa furniture builder, cabinet maker and scuba diver.
