Las Vegas' latest casino, Red Rock Station, opened to a giant fireworks display and overflow crowds. Located on the far west side of town, the dazzling $925 million resort is touted as the most extravagant built off the Strip. Polished sandstone, dark woods, chandeliers, and a lobby with a three-story rotunda and curved staircases define the resort. Red Rock includes nine restaurants and 25 bars, including the nightclub, Cherry. There's a 16-screen movie complex, a spa, and a pool area. Although Red Rock opened with just 415 rooms, a total of 850 are expected to be operating by the end of the year.
