DEVIL DOLL PAYS A VISIT

Devil Doll, a California vocalist who blends rockabilly, jazz, punk and rock in a naughty sort of way, comes to town for two gigs. On April 28, she'll be at Anna Bannana's with Black Square, Suspicious Minds and The Malcognitas. On April 29, she'll be at Detox with Upstanding Youth, The Hell Caminos and Explore. Each show begins 8 p.m.; admission is $10. A Unity Crayons presentation. 783-4810.

MUSIC BY THE SEA

The Waikiki Aquarium's annual summer concert series, "Ke Kani O Ke Kai," once again offers a stellar lineup of entertainers. The schedule:

  • June 13: Raiatea Helm

  • June 27: Willie K

  • July 11: Keahiwai

  • July 25: Olomana

  • Aug. 8: Na Palapalai

    Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; concerts begin at 7 p.m. Food and drink will also be available for purchase, and the aquarium's exhibits and galleries will be open for viewing. Proceeds from the concerts will go toward a new exhibit about the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands.

    Admission is $18 general, $10 for those 7-12, free for kids 6 and younger; $15 and $7 for aquarium members. Members may also purchase a package of all five concerts for $60. 923-9741.
