ISLAND LIFE SHORTS
Country dudes take over shell

Advertiser Staff

Live country music concerts are about as common in these parts as a Filipino-Irish honky tonk man. And the Waikiki Shell plays host to both tonight? Expect snow. Said Filipino-Irish neo-traditionalist country singer Neal McCoy, right, and more standard-issue contemporary country dude Craig Morgan co-headline an evening of twang under the stars at 7:30 p.m. McCoy has three platinum and two gold discs to his name; Morgan has toured with LeAnn Rimes, Brad Paisley and Southern rock bad boys Montgomery Gentry. Tickets are $15, $25 and $35. (877) 750-4400.
